Stacy and the NEW 22 had a good night she finished 2nd in her heat. Stacy was faster the the leader of that heat race she just could not get around her.
A good handful of fast cars showed up for the last race, and Stacy starting from 7th made some difficult pass's and did her best to run down the leaders. With the points leader #79 Doug S. hot on her tail and the championship runner up #8 Darrin S. right behind him as the saying goes THE RACE WAS ON.
Stacy held her own and for the third time this season the Bakersfield Mini Stocks went 20 laps Green to checker without the yellow flag Stacy needed to close the gap, and give her a chance for the top spot. All in all we are very happy with our 4th place finish.
Stacy finished 4th in points for the season 14 points behind #49 Jolinda K.
(that's very close) Jolinda is a great competitor and a good sport who we became race friends with.
As for ROOKIE OF THE YEAR it turns out the track officials announcers and I'm not sure who else vote on that prestigious award. Stacy does have the most points of any rookie by far she made every race has a lot of fans and she is good racer all the things a person should accomplish to be ROOKIE OF THE YEAR but we will have to wait for the final result.
On behalf of Stacy and our whole team we Thank You for your support and interest in our MINI STOCK ADVENTURE.
