Woman stabbed during fight in east Bakersfield

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) – Police are searching for the person responsible for an east Bakersfield stabbing. Police Sgt. Charles Sherman said a “transient female” was stabbed in the stomach during a fight on East California Avenue. Sherman said the victim’s wounds were “minor” to “moderate” in severity.
