Woman helps give back to those in need in big way

Ida figures has spent the last several weeks packing boxes full of items to donate to those in need this holiday season. Figures said she came up with the idea of the boxes after she had an encounter with a homeless man on Thanksgiving. "After meeting this gentleman, I just couldn't get him off of my heart, out of my mind, and my daughter and I felt that we had to do something," she said.
