Wildfire near Lake Isabella grows to estimated 2,500 acres; homes lost
A fire burning Thursday evening south of Highway 178 in the Lake Isabella area had consumed an estimated 2,500 acres shortly before 8 p.m., and was zero percent contained, fire officials reported.
