Video shows armed robbery at Bakersfield food store

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) – Surveillance video captured an armed robbery Thursday afternoon at a northeast Bakersfield convenience store. A manager with Soni Food Stores provided the video to Eyewitness News. The robbery took place shortly before 2 p. m. at the store on Bernard Street near Oswell Street. Police told Eyewitness News that they’ve received a report and are investigating. Anyone with information helpful to the investigation is asked to call police at (661) 327-7111.
