Video shows Bakersfield officers use force to take down man running through traffic
Bakersfield police officers responded to a call around 8:45 a. m. Tuesday to check the welfare of an intoxicated man jumping in and out of traffic at 34th Street and Union Avenue. Officers arrived on-scene and confronted Robert Jimenez, 39, in the road, according to a news release. He ran from the officers, but was apprehended with the use of force – including baton strikes – to subdue and handcuff him. Path to Full Story on 29 Eyewitness News
