Valadao concedes the 21st Congressional District to Cox
David Valadao conceded the 21st Congressional District election to TJ Cox on Thursday afternoon. Associated Press called Valadao the winner of the race on Election Night, when he appeared to have a clear victory. But as election officials tallied provisional and mail-in ballots, Cox crept into the lead in the month following the election. AP later retracted its announcement.
