Vacant home catches fire in northeast Bakersfield

Fire officials are investigating vacant home fire in northeast Bakersfield. Bakersfield and Kern county fire crews were called to 12-hundred block of Jeffrey street around 2 a. m. Thursday. When they arrived fire officials said flames were shooting through the roof. The house wasn’t occupied. No one was hurt. A cause is under investigation. Path to Full Story on 29 Eyewitness News
