Two suspects arrested for murder of man found in burning car

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) – Two men have been arrested on suspicion of murdering a man whose body was found in a burning car. Ricky Ricardo Rivas, 32, was shot to death before his body was found Dec. 21 in the burning car at Virginia Avenue and Tyree Toliver Street. The Kern County Sheriff’s Office said Thursday that 26-year-old Albert Castillo and 34-year-old Samuel Rivas, no relation to the victim, were arrested on suspicion of murder.
