Two injured in hit-and-run near Arvin; police searching for driver and passengers

Arvin police officers were searching for three suspects after they fled the scene of a hit-and-run on the outskirts of Arvin Monday morning. Both Arvin police and California Highway Patrol responded to the call about an accident on Comanche Drive south of Varsity Avenue. A FedEx truck was driving south on Comanche Drive, south of Varsity Avenue, when a car that was parked on the right shoulder started to pull on the road to make a U-turn in front of the truck, CHP Officer Anna Love said.
