Two arrested after early morning chase for suspected drug, weapons violations

Two men were arrested after an early morning car chase Friday. At about 2:40 a.m., Bakersfield Police Department officers tried stopping a vehicle whose driver and passenger were suspected of brandishing a firearm near Brundage Lane and Union Avenue, according to a news release from the BPD.
