Toys for Tots holding donation drives
BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) – Toys for Tots might be struggling to regain ground after losing Toys R Us as a major sponsor, but officials with the organization say they’ve made headway since going public with their troubles. They’re now 16,000 toys shy of their local goal. To entice donations, folks who drop off a toy at Victor’s Mexican Grill at Calloway Drive and Brimhall Road on Tuesday can get 10 percent off their lunch purchase, until 12:30 p. m.
