Suspicious-death investigation underway at Belle Terrace Park

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) – Police said a man was found dead Wednesday morning in a restroom at Belle Terrace Park in southeast Bakersfield. Sgt. Nathan McCauley said the man’s body had injuries, which makes them believe the death to be suspicious. McCauley said they’ll be out at the park investigating for several hours. Someone found the body and called it in to police shortly before 10 a. m. Anyone with information helpful to the investigation is asked to call police at (661) 327-7111.
