Sand Fire Continues To Burn In Santa Clarita
Firefighters battled a fast-moving 2,500 acre brush fire in Santa Clarita Friday along the northbound 14 Freeway near Sand Canyon but has been downgraded to 1,500 acres.
Fueled by dry conditions and 20 mph gusts, the Sand Fire quickly spread to at least 2,500 acres with 0 percent containment by late afternoon.
