Runners lace up for first annual Hanukkah 8 Krazy Kilometers
Runners from all around Kern County laced up for the first annualHanukkah 8 Krazy Kilometers fun run Sunday. The event gave people a chance to participate in the celebration ofHanukkah bylighting a holidaymenorah, eating foods fried in oil like latkes andplaying with dreidel's. Proceeds for the event will be donates to various programs including Panorama Vista Preserve, a riparian habitat preserve, environmental education program, and Plant a Tree in Israel.
