Ridgecrest police and good samaritan help save dog from house fire

A good samaritan and members of the Ridgecrest Police Department helped save a dog from a house fire Saturday night. Officers arrived around 11:10 p. m. at the 700 block of West Bennett Avenue and were told that a woman was still possibly trapped inside the burning home. Reserve Officer Lloyd and Jorge Toral, a Ridgecrest resident, were able to get into the back of the home and found a large dog unresponsive inside. Path to Full Story on 29 Eyewitness News
