Ridgecrest PD designs special patch to help young cancer patient

The Ridgecrest Police Department is selling pink-stitched patches of its police badge to raise money for a young girl battling cancer. Kylea Chance, 5, and her family drive to Los Angeles every 10 days so she can receive treatment from leukemia. This has been happening for more than a year and has put a financial strain on her family. The Ridgecrest PD created the special patch to help the family out.
