Report: Sears in Bakersfield, Kmart in Delano closing as company files for bankruptcy

Sears filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection Monday. With this, the company plans to close 142 unprofitable stores. This comes on the heels of an August announcement of 46 store closures.
