Remains of WWII Marine laid to rest in Kern County

A Marine lost to war decades ago was laid to rest Monday at Bakersfield National Cemetery.Sgt. William D. Ball Jr. was wounded in November 1943 in the Battle of Tarawa in the Pacific during World War II. He went missing and was presumed killed in action.Ba Path to Full Story on 29 Eyewitness News
