Public Health closes Krispy Kreme after rodent droppings found

Krispy Kreme Doughnuts, 9410 Rosedale Highway, has been closed by the Kern County Public Health Services due to rodent droppings found in the store. A health inspector observed rodent droppings behind sugar and flour pallets in the back food-storage area on Friday. The investigator noted that a “deep cleaning” is required. The inspection report said the store must clean and sanitize and abate all vermin and obtain a sanitary survey from a licensed pest-control company before reopening.
