Police: Suspect tried robbing two convenience stores in two hours

Police say a man tried robbing two ampm convenience stores in two hours, but in both instances store clerks refused to hand over any money. The suspect entered an ampm in the 4200 block of Ming Avenue at 11:55 p.m. April 26, brandished a knife and demanded money from a clerk, police said.
