Police: Pickup driver runs red light, hits patrol car

UPDATE (11:39 a. m. ): The scene is cleared, and the intersection is fully open. --- BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) – A police car and pickup crashed Wednesday morning at 34th and Q streets. A portion of the intersection and some lanes leading into the intersection are closed. A police sergeant on scene said the officer suffered moderate injuries.
