Piece of World Trade Center to arrive in Bakersfield Wednesday

Bakersfield firefighters will escort a six-and-a-half ton steel girder from the World Trade Center into Bakersfield Wednesday morning.The girder, which will be used in a memorial, will arrive about 10:30 a.m. and travel north on Chester Avenue from Highway 58.
