Person suffers burns in apartment fire on Wilson Road
A person was taken to the hospital with burns Sunday after an apartment fire broke out in south Bakersfield. Firefighters said they arrived on the 3000 block of Wilson Road and found heavy smoke coming from one of the rooms. Firefighters also found a person who was suffering from burns. Fire crews were able to work quickly and along with the buildings fire sprinklers were able to knock the fire down before it was able to spread.
