Pedestrian struck and killed in southeast Bakersfield

A 67-year-old woman was struck and killed by a vehicle Monday evening in southeast Bakersfield.Marie Meza Aguirre was hit at 8:08 p.m. in the 3500 block of Cottonwood Road and pronounced dead about 30 minutes later at Kern Medical Center, a coroner’s office release said. Police said Path to Full Story on The Bakersfield Californian
