One-time sheriff candidate Justin Fleeman on leave amid complaints

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) – Justin Fleeman – a chief deputy at the Kern County Sheriff’s Office and a man who ran for sheriff against Donny Youngblood in June – has been put on paid administrative leave. Multiple KCSO employees filed complaints against Fleeman, according to Kern County Counsel Mark Nations. Those complaints are now under investigation by at least one law firm.
