One killed in crash on Highway 166
CHP is investigating a crash that left one person dead in western Kern County early Tuesday morning. It happened just before 5 a. m. Tuesday on Highway 166 just east of Basic School Road. According to CHP, there is a partial closure of Maricopa Highway and traffic is currently affected. Officials are not sure when it will reopen. This is a developing story, check back for details.
