New details released in Standard Middle School teacher battery case

A sixth-grade teacher at Standard Middle School in Oildale has been charged on two misdemeanor counts of battery on a person. Shannon Robinson allegedly struck two students, according to court documents. Several students accused her of using foul language and calling them vile names in class, the documents state. Two different students told law enforcement that Robinson struck them – one on the back on Oct. 18 and the other on the arm on Nov. 1. Path to Full Story on 29 Eyewitness News
