McFarland pulling out of agreement to operate Mesa Verde

On Wednesday, the city of McFarland officially gave notice of their decision to pull out of an agreement to help operate the Mesa Verde ICE processing center located in east Bakersfield. "We amicably decided that McFarland was, we should, we should focus on our community and the things that are happening in our town,” said Manuel Cantu, the mayor of McFarland.
