Mary K. Shell – former Bakersfield mayor, Kern County supervisor – dead at 91
BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) – Mary K. Shell, Bakersfield's first female mayor, died Thursday morning.Shell also served on the Kern County Board of Supervisors, and the Mary K. Shell Mental Health Center is named in her honor.Her death, first reported Path to Full Story on 29 Eyewitness News
