Man who allegedly sent sexually explicit messages to students pleads not guilty

A former North High School staffer was arraigned in Kern County Superior Court on Thursday. Edwin Rodriguez, 40, was arrested Tuesday on two dozen charges for alleged sexual misconduct with students. Rodriguez pleaded not guilty to all the charges, 11 of which are felony counts. He had been working as a sports equipment manager at the high school, but has been placed on leave, according to the Kern High School District. Path to Full Story on 29 Eyewitness News
