Man struck by train identified

A man struck and killed by a train near the Highway 99 overpass last week has been identified.Vincent Lee Vantassel, 50, was hit by a train at 4:23 p.m. Feb. 17 on the tracks parallel to Norris Road just east of the overpass, according to a coroner’s office news release.
