Man shot on Union Avenue Thursday evening

A man was shot multiple times Thursday evening at a hotel on Union Avenue and officers detained several people at the scene, police said. Officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 1700 block Union Avenue at 5:30 p.m. and found the victim in the roadway, according to police.
