Man shot on Mill Creek walking path
On a perfect day for a downtown stroll, a man was shot on the walking path along Mill Creek Sunday afternoon, according to the Bakersfield Police Department.The shooting is believed to have occurred near the 1200 block of R Street at about 12:45 p.m. based on when shots were heard, said Sgt.
