Man shot in east Bakersfield

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) – A man was found just after midnight with a pair of “small” gunshot wounds, Kern County Sheriff’s Office Sgt. Stephen Wells said. The victim’s name was withheld. Wells said the 36-year-old man is in critical condition, but he’s been stabilized at a hospital. The wounded man was found in front of a house at Park and Mills drives, near Foothill High School. Wells said they’ve gotten detailed statements from witnesses, and they’re now trying to identify the shooter. Path to Full Story on 29 Eyewitness News
