Man gets foot run over by a train in East Bakersfield

A man is recovering after nearly getting run over by a train in East Bakersfield. It happened around 8 p. m. Monday on Baker Street. Bakersfield Police Department said his foot was runover by the train. Investigators said he was trying to cross the tracks when the train approached. We’re told his injuries are serious but he’s expected to be okay. Police have yet to identify the man. Path to Full Story on 29 Eyewitness News
