Man dead in south Bakersfield shooting

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) – A man has died after he was found suffering from a gunshot wound in a south Bakersfield backyard. Kern County Sheriff’s Office Commander Adam Plugge said deputies were sent shortly before 10 p. m. Sunday to a home on Mint Street, near Ming Avenue and South H Street. The victim, whose name was withheld, died at the location. Plugge said it’s too early to identify a suspect or comment on a possible motive. Path to Full Story on 29 Eyewitness News
