Man arrested in connection with body found Wednesday morning

A man who lived at the house in southwest Bakersfield where a body was found in the backyard has been arrested. Dennis Demetrio Marroquin, 25, is in jail on allegations of conspiracy and destroying/concealing evidence. Bail has been set at $500,000, with an arraignment scheduled for Friday. The identity of the victim, found Wednesday morning at 6209 Hathaway Ave. , is being withheld pending a coroner’s office report. Path to Full Story on 29 Eyewitness News
