Local veteran asking for help to refinance home

For Nathan Curtis, the last few years have been a struggle. In 2015, the Navy veteran and his wife bought a house in northern Bakersfield. But after becoming classified as fully disabled severely limited Curtis' income, he decided to try and refinance his home to lower his mortgage payments. It's there that his problems took a turn for the worst. "The right side of the house is sinking about three or four inches on each side of the house,” Curtis said.
