Local boy who battled heart transplant complication dies

Brayden Eidenshink, a 10-year-old Bakersfield boy who battled complications from a recent heart transplant has died. The family confirmed on a Facebook post Thursday morning that Brayden passed away peacefully Wednesday at 7:17 p. m. Brayden has just received a new heart after being on a waiting list for more than four years. Shortly after his transplant, Brayden suffered complications.
