Local Heroes Visit Washington, D.c. Memorials
Honor Flight Kern County is a non-profit organization honoring local heroes by sending them to Washington, D.C. to see the memorials built in their honor.ÂSince the program was started five years ago in Kern County, over 1,000 veterans have been able to visit Washington, D.C. at no cost to them.
