Kern Taxpayer Association: Amazon incentives a good deal for taxpayers

The Kern Taxpayers Association on Friday endorsed a county plan to give Amazon tax rebates for job guarantees. The board of supervisors will vote Tuesday afternoon whether to offer Amazon $3 million in tax rebates over the course of many years if the company maintains a local workforce of1,000 people.
