Kern River Valley businesses to help federal employees affect by government shutdown

The Kern River Valley and Kernville chambers of commerce announced that local businesses want to help furloughed government workers in the valley. “Now we are here because our local businesses want to do their part in helping our furloughed government employees here in the valley,” Jon Feldschau, president of the Kernville Chamber of Commerce, said in a Facebook video.
