Kern County gets millions to address homelessness

The Kern County Homeless Collaborative (KCHC) will receive $3. 8 million in funding from the state of California. The state is allocating $2. 6 million in one-time funding under the Homeless Emergency Aid Program (HEAP) and nearly $1. 2 million in California Emergency Solutions and Housing (CESH) program funding to address homelessness in Kern County.
