Kern County Korean War Veterans To Be Honored

The Korean American Association of Bakersfield and the Korean War Veterans Association, Chapter 211, will conduct a wreath-laying ceremony today to honor Kern County Veterans who were killed in action during the Korean War. The event, open to the public, will be at the Korean War Veterans Memorial at 11:00 a.m. The Memorial is located in the southeast corner of Jastro Park which is located on Truxtun Avenue at Myrtle Street.
