Kern County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce celebrating Day of the Dead

Celebrate Dia de Los Muertos this weekend at the Kern County Museum. The Kern County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce’s 10th annual Dia de Los Muertos – or Day of the Dead – takes place 1-7 p. m. Sunday at the museum, 3801 Chester Ave. The yearly festival includes a Dia de Los Muertos costume contest, Mexican folk dancing and mariachi music, authentic cuisine, a traditional Aztec blessing and activities for children such as sugar-skull decorating, face painting and more.
