KCSO investigating Lerdo inmate death

An inmate died Saturday at the Lerdo Pre-Trial Facility.At about 7:50 a.m., homicide detectives with the Kern County Sheriff’s Office received reports of a dead 44-year-old inmate, according to a KCSO news release.The inmate had an extensive history of medical problems, the release said.
