June 1 Marks Defensible Space Deadline
The deadline for many Kern County homeowners to reduce fire hazards around their homes is Thursday, June 1. After that, fire crews will begin inspecting homes in their areas to ensure that they aren't in violation of the Kern County Fire Hazard Reduction Program.
