Jobfest Happening In Delano On Thursday

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. – The unemployment rate in Kern County is greater than 10 percent. Delano's unemployment rate is 11.9%. But, the Kern County Department of Human Services hopes to change that by bringing the JobFest series to Cesar Chavez High School at 800 Browning Road on Thursday,June 15th, from 9 a.m. to noon. Job seekers are encouraged to attend the JobFest dressed for success with at least 20 copies of their resume or Master Application. Event admission and parking are free.
