
If you were looking forward to the end of roadwork on Highway 58, don’t hold your breath. Eyewitness News spoke to Luis Topete, the city’s project engineer, to find out why the project has taken so long and why it’s not done yet. The project is on track to be completed nine months later than expected. Topete said that delay was caused by the unanticipated appearance of a large sewer pipe.
